So far Jeevika is working intensively in 22 taluks spread out in the 8 districts of Karnataka. They are registering themselves as independent societies under the Karnataka Registration Act. They are as follows:

9. Srinivasapura (Kolar)
10. Mulbagil (Kolar)
11. Bangarpete (Kolar)
12. Malur (Kolar)
13. Chintamani (Kolar)
14. Shidlaghatta (Kolar)
15. Bagepally (Kolar)
16. Gudibandi (Kolar)
17. Gauribidanur (Kolar)
18. Chikkaballapur (Kolar)
19. Madugiri (Tumkur)
20. Pavagada (Tumkur)
21. Bailahongal (Belgaum)
22. Yadagiri (Gulbarga)
Another 300 or so informal groups of dalit youth are promoted since the end of 2005 in all the districts and taluks of karnataka, except the two costal districts, Dakshina Kannada and Udupi, and the costal taluks of a third district, Uttara Kannada. (Karnataka has totally 27 districts and 176 taluks).
